Miss Becca

Growing up, Fiona was a North Aberdeenshire Dance Academy pupil studying Tap, Ballet, Modern and Jazz, and also gained her ISTD Diploma in Dance Instruction in Modern Theatre and Tap whilst there. After leaving school, Fiona moved to Barcelona to study Dance at the Institute of the Arts and continued with her teaching qualifications, gaining her ISTD Diploma in Dance Education for both Tap and Modern Theatre. Moving back to the UK, Fiona began teaching at various dance schools and Primary Schools in Central Scotland, entering students into ISTD examinations and coaching/choreographing for shows and competitions, both locally and internationally.

Fiona took an interest in Pilates and the benefits it provides in dance training whilst undergoing training in Spain, and is currently completing her Pilates Matwork Teacher Training through Body Control Pilates. Fiona is also a fully qualified PBT instructor (Progressing Ballet Technique).

Miss Robyn

Robyn began attending Artistic Gymnastics with the Beacon Gymnastics Club when she was 6 years old and competed both locally and nationally until she was 16 when she completed her Level 1 Artistic Gymnastics Coaching qualification! Robyn then went on to join Aberdeen Cheer & Dance Company where she competed in Cheerleading and Jazz Dance, both in teams and as a Cheer soloist, and was selected to represent Scotland at the USASF World Championships in Florida in 2009 and 2011! Robyn joined our dance school in 2017 when we set up our Acrobatics classes, combining her knowledge of Gymnastics with Natalie's background of Dance. Robyn is now a fully qualified Acrobatic Arts Teacher (Module One).

Becca started dancing at just 2 years old at Stuart School of Dance learning an array of styles including Tap, Ballet, Disco and Majorettes. As she grew older, her passion for dance also grew and she chose to move to Academy Street Dance Studio to begin studying RAD Classical Ballet and ISTD Tap and Modern Theatre. After finishing secondary school, Becca went on to college in Aberdeen where she completed an HNC in Acting & Performing, and an HND in Musical Theatre. To further her qualifications, Becca then moved to the central belt to study for her ISTD Diploma in Dance Instruction. On completing her DDI in both Tap and Modern Theatre, Becca began her teaching journey and taught at multiple schools across the central belt, entering students into their exams, choreographing routines for dance shows and events, as well as coaching the competition team/soloists and preparing group and solo numbers for a number of competitions across the UK. Becca is now back in Aberdeen, teaching at several local dance schools.
